"Parking at the Health Center" you will see on the way to Strbske Pleso as the second car park. It is on the left-hand side, just off the road. The car park is reserved only for passenger cars of the ZŤP card holders. Cableway solisko exp... ... (Area)

Departure station of chairlift "Solisko Express" is located less than three minutes by walk from the square World Cup 1970's. It takes 7 minutes by cable car to reach the Solisko peak. Visitors overcome 431 meters difference in altitude and are surrounded by spectacular scenery and unique vies during cablecar ride.

World championship s... ... (Area)

In February 2018, forty-eight years have passed since the most important sporting event that took place in the High Tatras - World Championships in Classic Skiing. This sporting event has changed the look of our sights and has greatly contributed to the development of tourism in this area. The place displayed on this show was named after the event as "The 1970 World Championship Square".

Koliba patria (Area)

Koliba Patria is located just on the trail around the lake. Tourists will appreciate buffet on the ground floor and gourments will surely enjoy various specilities in a stylish restaurant upstaris.

Hotel patria (Area)

Around half the walk around Pleso, 100 meters from the trail, stands luxury hotel Patria, one of the symbols of Strbske Pleso. For hikers, the hotel is accessible directly from the trail around the lake.

Memorial (Area)

Not far from hotel Solisko, on a ‚foreland‘ with views on entire lake, there is a war monument built for the heros of SNP (Slovak National Rising).

Hotel Solisko will usually be your starting and end point of your tour around Strbske Pleso. Its tradition trades back to 19th century. Near by is a very popular place presenting its visitors with a beautiul view at Poprad basin.

Jazierka lásky sa pôvodne volali "Štrbské rybníky". Slúžili skutočne ako rybníky na odchov pstruhov. V súčasnosti je to populárne miesto na prechádzku a oddych nie len pre mladé páriky. V okolí jazierok je upravený chodník a lavičky. Cesta k jazierkam je označená tabuľami a vedie od parkoviska situovaného oproti turistickej ubytovni.

The ski jumping area (Area)

The ski jumping area is located at an altitude of 1,500 meters above sea level on the edge of the Strbske Pleso climatic baths. It was built on the site of an older jumping bridge. This massive and unusual construction has created a dignified framework for world championships in classic ski disciplines held in 1970.

There are 8 cross-country ski runs in the cross-country ski area of Štrbské Pleso. Lenth of runs is from 1.4 to 5 kilometers. Running stadium and cross-country ski runs within 2.5 km can be used during the whole winter season due to artificial snow

Restaurant with a capacity of 70 seats, offers great home cooking. Sun deck is directly accesible from the restaurant.

Stylish coffe house, overlooking the center of Strbske Pleso has a capacity of 30 seats. In summer you can enjoy your cup of coffee on the terrace with barrier free access from the coffe house.

The Al Lago Restaurant serves traditional Mediterian cuisine with a selection of Slovak specialties. Emphasis is placed mainly on fresh and original raw materials, and therefore the meals maintain the right original flavor. Pizza is made from Italian Caputo flour, the olives are prepared from the Argentine sirloin.

A spacious restaurant with 20 seats offers breakfast in the form of buffet tables. We prepare the breakfast from 07:30 to 10:00. Of course, if you have a planned hiking or tour, breakfast will be prepared according to your wishes earlier.

Railway station (Area)

The Štrbské Pleso railway station is a transport junction where two tracks meet: the rack railway that we come from the village of Štrba and the alektrička from Starý Smokovec.
